About Us

For Communities by Communities

We are a team of advocates, researchers, community groups, community members, leaders, and cancer survivors working to transform cancer in Nigeria. We work with communities to harness their collective power into healthful and vibrant assets so they can:

Lead and develop creative solutions that prevent cancer.

Partner, mobilize, and activate lasting change with their solutions for preventing cancer.

Impact, connect, and contribute to overall cancer control priorities that enable community members to lead healthy lives.

Our Programs

Connecting Communities, Cultivating Change

Contests

Evidence-based cancer control interventions for cervical and liver cancers exist but are often out of reach for many communities in Nigeria, which leads to devastating impact for many people and communities globally. We are on a mission to change this.

Collaborations

We are dedicated to advancing diverse trainees through access to capacity support, coaching, and lucrative connections specifically designed to help them stand apart from the rest with research that serve community needs.

Connections

We are committed to cultivate, mobilize and use transferable knowledge and skills in partnerships and with communities to fuel connections and transformative change that ends cervical and liver
cancer.

Our Purpose

Empowering Communities for Cancer Control

We are committed to empowering communities to fuel real change and innovation to fight cervical and liver cancer. These transformative solutions are possible when community assets meet opportunities. We built this open community model to solve these complex health problems with rather than for communities.
